We are delighted to welcome our guests to London for our wedding celebration at The Columbia Hotel.
Getting There
By Underground: The nearest station is Lancaster Gate (Central Line), a short three-minute walk from the hotel. Paddington Station, offering national rail services and the Heathrow Express, is approximately a ten-minute walk away.
By Car: Limited on-street parking is available in the surrounding area. Guests are kindly encouraged to use public transport or taxis where possible.
From the Airport:
From Heathrow Airport, take the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station (approximately 15 minutes), followed by a brief walk or short taxi ride to the hotel.
From Gatwick Airport, take the Gatwick Express to Victoria Station, then transfer to the Circle Line towards Paddington.
The Columbia Hotel is ideally located within walking distance of several of London’s most iconic landmarks, including Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and Notting Hill.

ABOUT US
The Bride
about the bride.
Rachel grew up in Berkhamsted with her parents Kate and Jon, and brothers James and Ben. She made lifelong friends at Ashlyns School, studied Marketing Communications at Bournemouth University, and now lives in London working at Lyst. She loves cooking, spending time with family and friends, and designing both their home renovation and this wedding — usually with a spreadsheet, a mood board, and a strong sense of direction. She could not be more excited to be marrying David on 19th Sept.
The Groom

David grew up in Guiseley, Leeds, with his parents, Jane and David, and his two sisters, Rebecca and Georgia. He enjoys music, hanging out at the pub, football opinions that don’t age well, and claiming things will be “quick” and “easy” before they very much aren’t. Meeting Rachel quickly made everything else feel more straightforward. Life is better with her in it, and he’s very glad she agreed to marry him.
The COUPLE
ABOUT the bride & GROOM.
Rachel and David met in 2019. Not long after they became a couple, the world went into lockdown, and David moved in with Rachel and her four friends in Tooting. They moved into their first flat together in Shoreditch in 2021, before moving to Newington Green in 2023, and last year settled into their current home in Dalston. They got engaged on June 16th, 2025, and are so excited to be getting married in September 2026. Together they love of travelling, discovering new restaurants, spending evenings in the pub, and hanging out with friends.
